Appendix: Planetary Aspects

Conjunction

Conjunctions occur when two celestial bodies occupy the same degree along the ecliptic. Conjunctions have a disruptive effect on plants. Sowing during a conjunction is harmful to plant growth and will damage a plant’s ability to reproduce.

Eclipse  🝶

Eclipses occur when one celestial bodies block one another. Eclipses are energetically similar to occultations.

Occultation  🝵

Occultations occur when one celestial body shares the same ecliptic longitude and latitude as another celestial body. It therefore stands in front of the second planet. This competition results in energetic disturbances and is unfavorable for gardening activities.

Opposition

Oppositions occur when celestial bodies are 180° apart from each other. Oppositions positively stimulate seeds sown at that moment.

Sextile

Sextiles occur when celestial bodies are 60° apart from each other.

Square

Squares occur when celestial bodies are 90° apart from each other.

Trine   or

Trines occur when celestial bodies are 120° apart from each other. Trine energetics are considered very powerful and can override the lunar constellation-element influence when the celestial bodies in trine position are in the same element constellation. Trines where the celestial bodies are in the same element constellation are identified by .
